Aircraft Maintenance Technician                    

Aero Charter Jet Center, located at Spirit of St. Louis Airport, Chesterfield Missouri, is currently searching for a quality individual to join our Aircraft Maintenance team.  The ideal applicant will be safety oriented, possess mechanical aptitude, be proficient at troubleshooting any aircraft system, be comfortable operating equipment and machinery, and maintain high standards of customer service.  Previous Lear, Hawker, Citation, Sabreliner, and some piston aircraft experience is desired.  

Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Maintaining our fleet of charter aircraft.
  • Maintaining our managed aircraft fleet.
  • Performing maintenance on transient aircraft when required.
  • Maintaining company equipment.
  • General cleaning of equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Positive Customer Service Attitude.
  • Teamwork Attitude.
  • Airframe and power-plant mechanics certificate.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Valid Driver License.   Safe driving record.
  • Outstanding Interpersonal Skills.
  • Computer knowledge, able to navigate aircraft manuals.
  • Ability to Timely Manage Multiple Tasks.
  • Passion and Desire to work in the aviation industry.
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Work schedule flexibility.
  • Willingness to work Weekends, Holidays and Overtime, as needed.

A pre-employment drug screen is required for this position.
