If you have never flown in a private plane before, it is an experience unlike any other.
We’ve talked about the benefits of why private plane travel is a safer option, but what about the overall journey, from start to finish?
The Charter Flight Experience
Let’s take a look at what it is like to fly private on a charter plane with Aero Charter.
Booking Your Trip
While you may know where and when you want to travel, you may wonder about the overall private flight experience, with questions such as:
- If my travel date is flexible, can I save money?
- What type of aircraft do I need?
- How long is the flight to the destination?
- Are there drinks and snacks on board?
- How early should I show up for the departure?
- Who should arrange the ground transportation once we arrive at our destination?
- Who do we contact when we are on the way back to the airport or if we are running late?
- Will the pilots be waiting for us at the airport when the meeting is over?
Our charter coordinators will walk you through these questions and more when you book your private flight. If you have the street address for your destination, we will determine which airport is the closest option and provide the routing for your trip accordingly.
Whether you have a travel date in mind or are more flexible, we can help you decide what’s best for you. For instance, you may need a charter flight that is fully customized for your needs, or you may be able to take advantage of available one-way flights which are less costly but also less flexible to changes.
What about which aircraft is right for you? At Aero Charter, we have a wide range of top-of-the-line aircraft in our charter fleet. We can help guide you through your choices by learning about your travel plans. In general, the number of passengers you have, where your destination is located, and your budget will all influence this decision.
Leading Up to Your Private Flight
Between booking and your departure, Aero Charter keeps you in the loop each step of the way. We will send you an itinerary to confirm that everything looks correct in case you need to make any changes. We will arrange any additional services such as catering, ground transportation, and any other special requests.
That way we know once you arrive that you will not have any delays getting on your way. Your itinerary has all of your requests listed and confirmed, but remember it can be easily amended or modified at any time. This also opens the conversation for any additional questions you may have.
The Day of Your Flight
Unlike commercial flights where it’s recommended you arrive between 2 to 4 hours early, with charter flights, you can take your time and get to our facility just prior to your flight.
On a single-day trip, most passengers arrive at Aero Charter only 10 minutes prior to departure so they have time to use the facilities or grab a Starbucks coffee in our lobby before they depart.
If you are on a multi-day trip (such as to Naples, Florida or Las Vegas) you may wish to show up a little earlier so we have time to load luggage. Best part is, we don’t leave without you and are on your schedule. So, there is no stress — we leave when you are ready.
When you arrive at Aero Charter, our customer service representative and your pilots will greet you as you walk in the lobby. Our team is there to answer any questions you may have about our facilities, where to park your car, or your flight’s timing.
We take care of your luggage and direct you to the aircraft. If you have a lot of luggage or need some assistance getting on the plane, you can even pull your vehicle planeside and our line service crew will park your vehicle for the duration of your trip.
On the Plane
Our crew will conduct a safety features review once you board the plane. On the flight, business executives can conduct business and use the aircraft as their own conference room since they will only be flying with other coworkers or clients. This makes it simpler to work on presentations, prepare for future meetings, and follow-up on other projects. Our luxurious planes offer a great place to focus on work.
For those who are traveling for vacation, you can enjoy a relaxing flight with family or friends. Catch up on downloaded shows on your electronic device, read, eat snacks, enjoy complimentary beverages, or simply rest in the peace and quiet in your private jet.
Unlike the airlines, you can talk to the pilots in flight. If you have questions on how much longer until you arrive, weather at your destination, where something is located on the plane, or simply need a different temperature setting, just ask.
When you get closer to your destination, the pilots can radio ahead and verify your ground transportation and make sure they are ready for your arrival.
When You Land
Aero Charter pilots go above and beyond what you may be used to with commercial flights. When your flight has landed at your destination, our pilots help you deboard, unload your luggage, and make sure that you have everything you need before you leave the airport.
If you have a rental car or car service waiting for you, the pilots will request to have the vehicle pulled planeside. They also are available to answer any last-minute questions, make sure you have their contact information, and take note of any changes in your return trip plans before you leave the airport.
Why Fly Private vs. Fly Commercial
There are many reasons why flying private is a more relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Direct Flights
First, every flight is a direct flight — that means no layovers or long wait times between flights.
Closer to Your Destination
Because of our wide range of aircraft in our fleet, we can land at smaller airports that are closer to your destination, limiting the time you spend traveling from airport to hotel or conference room.
Save Time
Another excellent reason to fly private is that you can typically fly round-trip in the same day. Leave in the morning and you can return home in time for dinner (without concern over delays or missing connecting flights).
In addition, you do not have to wait in security lines or sit around waiting to board. You decide when you want to depart, and we will not leave without you if you happen to be running a little late.
Flexible Schedules
No matter what kind of trip you take, you will experience flexibility. Even though you have initially set your schedule, you are free to adjust it. We get that sometimes meetings run long — or maybe they get done early. If you happen to be early, we get you home or to your next destination that much sooner.
Either way, when you let our pilots know what adjustments you need to make with your schedule, we are flexible so you don’t need to stress about your flights.
Attentive Customer Service
Have a question or concern? You do not have to jump through hoops or sit on hold for hours trying to speak to a representative. Our team is available 24/7 to speak with you.
Our pilots are also an amazing branch of our customer service team, by helping you each step of the way from boarding until leaving the arrival terminal.
Relaxing Flights
Anyone who has flown commercial knows that, even in first class, it is not the most distraction-free experience. With private flights, you are with people you know — including pets! — which means you are able to create a more suitable atmosphere for work, rest or fun.
