In May, Aero Charter partnered with the Endangered Wolf Center and Luxco to transport nine Mexican wolf pups to Arizona and New Mexico.
The pups will be fostered by three separate wolf packs in New Mexico and Arizona in an effort to save the species, which is native to the southwestern United States. With the Mexican wolf being one of the most critically endangered mammals in the world, Aero Charter was proud to participate in this important foster initiative.
This effort would typically take place using commercial travel, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions prevented the use of commercial airlines for transport.
As a result, the Endangered Wolf Center sent out an appeal to the local aviation community in Missouri to pitch in to transport the pups. Aero Charter teamed up with Luxco, who provided the aircraft while Aero Charter supplied the crew and fuel.
