Today Aero Charter is your Total Aviation Solution, specializing in aircraft management and aircraft charter services. As a vertically integrated company, Aero Charter also offers full FBO services, maintenance and avionics.

2011
Aero Charter adds an additional hangar, office space, and further expands its ramp space.

2009
Aero Charter completes a 38,000 square-foot ramp expansion and taxiway widening project enabling larger private jets easy access to its services.

2008
Raymond R. Van de Riet, Jr. joins Aero Charter as a partner with Thomas and Morgenthaler. During the same year, the Company launches a full-service Fixed Base Operation (FBO), Aero Charter Jet Center, and receives FAA approval to construct a second hangar, FBO building, and additional ramp area.

Aero Charter celebrates 40 years of aviation service.

2002
Aero Charter adds a Challenger 601-3AER to its charter certificate. Company receives approval for twelve or more passenger capabilities and Worldwide Area of Operations.

2001
Aero Charter receives approval as an FAA Repair Station, providing high quality maintenance and avionics to our current management customers and to other corporate jet and turbo-prop aircraft owners.

The Maintenance Department grows with the addition of a class one, two and three avionics shop.

1998
Aero Charter relocates to its new 72,000 square-foot campus including a 24,000 square-foot hangar on the southwest corner of Spirit Airport.

1996
Aero Charter becomes the first all-inclusive travel company in St. Louis. Incorporating Aero Travel as a full-service travel agency, which provides clients with business and vacation travel services including airline ticketing, rental car arrangements, hotel accommodations, cruises and vacation packages.

1995
Robert A. Thomas elected CEO and John J. Morgenthaler, Jr. elected President of Aero Charter, Inc. and its affiliates.

1992
The Company begins construction of a new facility at Spirit of St. Louis Airport. After delays caused by the flood of 1993, Aero Charter finally lands in its new 42,000 square-foot complex including a 12,000 square-foot hangar. The Company operates a mix of jets, turbo-props and piston aircraft.

John J. Morgenthaler, Jr. joins Aero Charter.

1987
Purchase of the first Company owned aircraft, a Beechcraft Baron 58.

1979
Aero Charter begins providing air transportation for medical transplant organs. During this same year, Aero Charter acquires Aero Enterprises.

1978
John J. Morgenthaler, Sr. and Robert A. Thomas incorporate Aero Charter for aircraft management and commercial air carrier services. The Company provides a cost effective alternative for aircraft owners and safe, affordable air taxi services for the general public.

1974
A business office is established at St. Louis Lambert Airport. The aircraft fleet expands to five airplanes as the timesharing membership grows.

1966
Aero Enterprises, Inc. is founded by John J. Morgenthaler, Sr. as an aircraft timesharing corporation. The Company ended the year with two aircraft and a growing membership.
