Job Responsibilities

  • Acts as Pilot-in-Command.
  • Adheres to the rules and regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company general operations manual as applicable.
  • Maintain a high degree of aeronautical skill and knowledge.
  • Comply with customer schedules and ensure the aircraft’s safe and efficient operation.
  • Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers.
  • Study the weather conditions and forecasts for the departure airport, flight planned route, destination, and alternate airports.
  • Prepare flight plans, calculate weight and balance, fuel on board, and performance charts.
  • Ensure that maintenance issues and required services are communicated to maintenance personnel.

Position Requirements

  • FAA certified commercial/single -engine/multi-engine/instrument rating.
  • Airline Transport Pilot rating.
  • 3000 hours total flying time.
  • 1000 hours as Pilot in Command.
  • Willing to relocate and live within 1-hour drive time of Spirit of St. Louis Airport.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Pilot-In-Command for our fleet of two King Air 350s.

Aircraft Technician

Line Service Technician

Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Direct aircraft arrivals and departures from operations ramp
  • Greet passengers and crew on arrival
  • Assist passengers and crew with baggage and/or cargo
  • Fuel aircraft
  • Implement fuel quality control procedures
  • Safely operate fuel trucks, aircraft tugs, GPU, and other equipment
  • Assist with aircraft positioning in and out of hangar facilities
  • Assist with customer service duties
  • General upkeep and cleaning of equipment and facilities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license with a safe driving record
  • Passion for and desire to work in the aviation industry
  • Positive and team-oriented attitude 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely fashion
  • Willingness to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • A pre-employment drug screen is required for this position.
  • 1 year of prior aviation experience preferred

Schedule

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift, night shift or overnight shift
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed

Pilot – First Officer
